V.I. Audubon Society Has Annual Plant Sale

March 13, 2006 – The Virgin Islands Audubon Society's annual plant sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Saturday, March 18, in the Frank Powell Sr. Park in Cruz Bay. The sale will offer a wide variety of plants from local gardens, including croton, bromeliads, hibiscus, dendrobium orchids, palms, agaves, ground covers and other garden favorites.
The money raised will help the Society fund activities, including the care, maintenance and improvements to the Small Pond at Frank Bay and to help further youth education programs.
If interested in donating plants for this event, bring them to Elaine Estern at the Coconut Coast Studios at Frank Bay anytime before March 18 or to the Frank Powell Sr. Park in Cruz Bay on March 18.
For further information contact Jean Cottrell at 776-6090 or at JeanSteveEastEnd@aol.com.
