Brief: Governor in D.C. Until March

Feb. 23, 2006 – Gov. Charles W. Turnbull left the territory Thursday to attend a National Governors' Association meeting in Washington, D.C. According to an administration release, the Governor is expected to testify before the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.
Lt. Gov. Vargrave Richards will serve as the territory's governor until Turnbull's return, during the first week in March.
