UVI Students Named to 'Who's Who'

Feb. 7, 2006 – Five students from the University of the Virgin Islands St. Croix campus will be featured in the 2006 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges." The students have been selected as national outstanding campus leaders based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
The students are Rhalina Laplace, Mashia Joseph, Shamaira Figueroa, Akila Moe and Natasha Liburd. They are all UVI seniors.
The five UVI students join an elite group of more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations. "Who's Who Among Students" was first published in 1934.
