WAPA Sets Outage in Mary's Fancy and Barren Spot

Feb. 3, 2006 – The V.I. Water and Power Authority is advising its electric customers in Mary's Fancy and Barren Spot there will be a service interruption in the area on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The purpose of the outage is to upgrade an existing line from single phase to three phase in order to prevent line loss in the area.
A press release from WAPA Friday said this upgrade will improve reliability and efficiency.
WAPA urged the motoring public to obey all traffic signs and to use extreme caution when traveling in the area.
