Author to Speak on Children's Diet and Immunity

Jan. 31, 2006 – Sally Byrd, N.D., LMBT, and author of the book, "Are Your Kids Running on Empty?" and CD cookbook, "Mom, I'm Hungry. What's for Dinner?" will speak at a free seminar on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Virgin Islands Montessori School. Her presentation is entitled: "Healthy Eating for Your Children's Immunity."
Byrd is a board certified and licensed naturopath as well as a licensed body worker. She will be speaking about the challenges and rewards parents face when applying good eating habits to their children's behavior patterns. She will also speak on learning how food can stimulate children's concentration, vitality and immunity.
The seminar is sponsored by The Natural Food Grocery & Deli, Long Bay.
