Donald Cito Vessup Dead at 52

Jan. 25, 2006 – Donald Cito Vessup, better known as "Duck," died on Jan. 19, at age 52. He was from St. Thomas and died in Miami, Fla.
He is survived by his mother, Idalia Hodge Knight; father, Herbert Vessup; daughters: Nioka and Christina Vessup; and stepmother, Naomi Vessup. He is also survived by brothers: Wayne and Warren Knight, Rev. Reuben Vessup, Peter Francis and Neal Baily; sisters: Millicent Hodge Gumbs and Jennifer Knight; and four grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 9 a.m., at the New Hermhut Moravian Church. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the New Hermhut Moravian Church.
Funeral arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
