Rebecca Hodge Tumma Dead at 87

Dec. 31, 2005 – Rebecca Hodge Tumms, better known as "Chiley," died on Dec. 26, at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital. She was a native of Tortola and was 87 years old.
She is survived by son, Daniel Thomas; daughter, Leoneice Florent Joseph; sister, Elouise Hodge Thomas; and brother, Vanceto Hodge. Other survivors include special friends: Carlos Woods and Mr. Lloyd; nieces: Cita Todman, Hilda Mactavious, Escetal Maguie, Ileta Hendricks, Janet Pedro and Annette Hodge; godsons: Terrence and Vanceto Hodge; goddaughter, Charline Adams; and many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be two viewings. The first is on Thursday, Jan. 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The second is on Friday, Jan. 6, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Christchurch Methodist, Market Square. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m., at Christchurch Methodist. Interment is at Cemetery No. 1.
