Crucian Cultural Bazaar Set For Frederiksted

Dec. 14, 2005 — Frederiksted will be the site of V.I. Department Of Tourism's Crucian Cultural Bazaar from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday as a cruise ship arrival is expected.
Herminio Velazquez, deputy chief of police district of St. Croix, in a press release Wednesday, reminded the public of the following parking restrictions and street closing scheduled to accommodate the festival
There will be no parking nor traffic allowed on King Street between the intersections of Market Street and Customs House Street. This is being done to accommodate the venders and pedestrians during the event.
These parking restrictions and road closing will be in effect from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Violators will be ticketed and/or vehicles towed away at the vehicle owner's expense. Velazquez sad the police department regrets any inconvenience this might cause the general public.
