Governor Hosts Children's Christmas Parties

Nov. 30, 2005 – In keeping with the spirit of the holiday season, Gov. Charles W. Turnbull will host his annual children's Christmas party. There will be performances by various bands, choirs, dancers, raffle drawings, food and drinks, and gifts distributed to children ages 1 to 10 years old.
The St. Thomas Christmas party will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., in Emancipation Gardens.
Parents must accompany their children to the party. The governor commended Mavis Turnbull Richards, who has served as the St. Thomas coordinator and her committee, St. John administrator, Julian Harley, and St. Croix administrator, Gregory Francis, for their diligence in ensuring that this year's parties will be fun for the children.
