CFVI To Present 6th Annual Kids Count Report

Nov. 26, 2005 – The Community Foundation of The Virgin Islands will present the sixth annual Kids Count report in two events in December, one on St. Thomas and one on St. Croix
Kids Count is a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, which aims to track the status of children in the United States on both a national and state-by-state level.
CFVI in collaboration with the University of the Virgin Islands Eastern Caribbean Center and the Education, Police, Human Services and Health Departments has produced a report every year since 1999.
"We're really excited that this year our key note speaker will be Tamara Copeland, president the national child advocacy organization, Voices for America's Children," said Dee Baecher-Brown, CFVI president, in a release announcing the two meetings.
The first presentation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Marriott Frenchman's Reef Hotel, Harbor IV
The St. Croix presentation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at The Buccaneer Hotel, Brass Parrot Room.
Space is limited. Anyone interested in attending can RSVP to CFVI at 774-6031.
