Gills Phillip Dead at 64

Oct. 4, 2005 – Gills Phillip, also known as "Paris," died on Wednesday, Sept. 28. He passed away at his residence in Estate Georges and was 64 years old.
Survivors are his daughters: Judith Jn-Baptiste and Sonia Phillip; sons: Alvin and Simoen Jn-Baptiste, and Gills, Kenneth and George Phillip. He is also survived by his sisters: Cecilia Augustine, Theresa Charley Joyceline, and Annie Joseph; and his brothers: Jerom Phillip, Boniface Duparl, Joseph Benn, Albert Bean and Wilston. Other survivors include 26 grandchildren and six great grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, Oct. 6, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Frederiksted Cemetery.
All arrangements are by James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
