Placide McKenzie Alexander Dead at 59

Sept. 21, 2005 – Placide McKenzie Alexander, also known as "Tiger" or "Macken," died on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He last resided at Williams Delight and was formerly of St. Lucia. He was 59 years old.
He is survived by his daughters: Jane Alexander and Tara Reid; sons: Tony, Greg, Martin, and Leon Alexander; and grandchildren: Ericka and Trinity Alexander. Other survivors are brothers: Aybert and Maurcie Leon, Anselm and Leo Alexander; and sisters: Maria Esther Alexander, Lucy Isidore, Pauline Emmanuel, and Pascalina Xavier. Survivors also include many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, Sept. 23, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
All arrangements are by James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
