Youth Arrested in Shoe Store Stabbing Has Defender

I do not know the young man who was killed, however the young man who was arrested I know very well. Kareem is a soft-spoken person. He is not malicious. I am having a very hard time believing that he is capable of such a heinous act. When I was at home for Carnival 2005, Kareem was assaulted by a safari driver (orange in color) at the mall. The driver said he owed him fifty cents, and with that he slapped him up in the back of his head. He was hanging out with two other young boys and it would have been easy for them to jump this man, but they never did; they just walked away. They never even argued with the safari driver. It is easy for us to accuse someone, but let's not throw away an innocent life.
