Police Arrest 18-Year-Old Student in Stabbing Death

Sept. 15, 2005 – Police arrested an 18-year-old Charlotte Amalie High School student around noon Thursday in connection with the stabbing death of Jahleel Halliday, 19, of Contant.
Kareem J. Brown, 18, of Oswald Harris Court was being held without bail pending an advice of rights hearing. Brown is charged with the stabbing that took place Monday afternoon at the Foot Locker sportswear store at Lockhart Gardens Mall, according to James McCall, assistant commissioner of Police. No further information about the circumstances surrounding the stabbing were available as of publication time.
