Water Service in Town May be Interrupted Tuesday

Aug. 30, 2005 – Potable water customers in the Charlotte Amalie area may experience pressure fluctuations and service interruptions while the Water and Power Authority completes emergency repairs to the main water line.
A major leak in the line on the Waterfront apron across from Palm Passage was discovered around 1 a.m. Tuesday, according to a release from WAPA.
The emergency repairs are expected to be completed by 11 p.m. Tuesday, the release said.
