Wheatley Skill Center Registration Begins

Aug. 27, 2005 – Registration at the Wheatley Skill Center for the new school year will begin on Monday, Aug. 29 and go through Friday, Sept. 16, according to a press release from the office of the supervisor. It will be held at the center's Sugar Estate location (directly behind the Lockhart School, west of the Roy Schneider Hospital) between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Offered courses will include: Microcomputer Application, Clerical Business/Typing, Aviation Mechanics, Basic Mechanics, Cosmetology and Carpentry. Classes begin on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and end on Jan. 20.
