Seeking Substitute Teachers for St. Thomas and St. Croix

Aug. 6, 2005 – According to a press release from the Department of Education's Division of Human Resources, it is seeking to increase its pool of substitute teachers in both districts. If interested in being a substitute, call the department at the St. Thomas office, 774-0100, or the St. Croix office, 773-1095.
Substitute teachers work on a temporary basis as needed and are paid directly from school accounts. This is a perfect job for retirees with a minimum of an Associate's Degree.
