Seven Beauties at Pistarckle Theater Tuesday, August 2

August 1, 2005 – "Seven Beauties" by Italian writer/director Lena Wertmuller, who received the first Oscar nomination for a female director, plays at the Pistarckle Theatre on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 7:30 p.m. A discussion will follow at 9 p.m. Donations only. A door prize will be awarded after the discussion.
Giancarlo Giannini stars as a charming, carefree small-time crook that deserts the fascist Italian army during WWII and finds himself in one dire straight after another.
The film series is sponsored by FirstBank VI. It is stressed in the press release from Pistarckle that no children are allowed to attend the performance. For information call 775-7877.
