School District Announces Late Registration Dates

August 2, 2005 – In a press release from the St. Croix school district, the Superintendent of Schools, Terence T. Joseph, announced that late registration for the 2005-2006 school year would begin on Monday, Aug. 15, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., at the Office of Pupil Personnel Services located at the Theodora Dunbavin Complex.
Parents wishing to register their child must bring the child to be registered and the following documents: the child's original birth certificate, a V.I. immunization card (with clearance form attached), a report card from the previous school, proof of the parent's physical address (such as a driver's license, voter's ID, Cable bill or WAPA bill), and the child's Social Security card, and an affidavit of legal guardianship if required.
Parents are advised that no student will be registered without the presentation of a V.I. Immunization card with an attached blue clearance form issued at the immunization clinic at the Charles Harwood Memorial Hospital.
Also, children entering kindergarten must have turned five years old on or before December 31, 2005.
