VI Waste Management Authority Has Tire Dealers Meeting

July 29, 2005 – The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority will be hosting the second in a series of meetings with business owners of tire dealerships, tire services and service stations regarding the disposal of tires. The St. Thomas meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 1:30 p.m. in the conference room of the UVI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Nisky Shopping Center, Suite 720.
According to May Adams Cornwall, executive director, "the purpose of this meeting is to work together to find a long term solution to tire disposal problems and to work on a plan to clean up illegal tire dump sites."
All tire business owners are invited to attend. For more information call 773-4489.
