Racism on St. John

After reading the article on what has happened to the Fretts' property both in town and out, I believe it is up to the St. Johnians, black and white, to stop this. Why would anyone want a business to close or property destroyed when all it does is look bad for the whole island population? As a whole, they should guard the Fretts' property at night and watch over the business location in the day.
Sincerely, an ol' St Johnian, Deb Avery. Cortez, Colo.
