The Elmo Plaskett Little League Resumes Play this Weekend

May 5, 2005 — The Elmo Plaskett Little League East resumes action this weekend at the D. C. Canegata Ballpark after taking a break for St. Thomas Carnival.
Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. in the 9-10-year-old division the Suns (3-4) host the Reds (0-6). At 7:30 p.m. in the 7-8-year-old division, the Suns (0-6) go against the Lil Yankees I (3-1).
Three games are on tap for Saturday. Starting at 1 p.m. it is a 5-6-year old division game between Toon Squad II (3-1) and the Suns (1-2). At 3 p.m. in the 11-12-year-old division the Yankees (2-7) are home against the Suns (2-4). In the final game at 5 p.m. the Suns play their second contest of the weekend as they face the Yankees who are a perfect 7-0 in the 9-10-year-old division.
A doubleheader is scheduled in the Elmo Plaskett Senior League starting at 5 p.m.. Friday. The Indians are matched up against the Suns at the D. C. Canegata Stadium.
No games scheduled for Sunday in honor of Mother's Day. The Elmo Plaskett Little League wishes all mothers "Happy Mother's Day."
