Community Alert: WAPA Schedules Power Outage

April 8, 2005 – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority has scheduled a power outage from midnight to 8 a.m. on Sunday for a small section of Christiansted.
The outage will affect Feeder No. 2 customers near the King Street and King Cross Street intersection such as Group LLC, E-Max Financial Group, Subway Restaurant, the Bombay Club and the Lutheran Parish Hall, according to a release from the authority.
While WAPA personnel replace rotten poles on Queen Cross Street vehicular traffic will be restricted on Queen Street in front of the former Lt. Governors office, the release said.
