Reader Takes Exception to Carnival Story

I take exception to both the headline and content of this article. It reads like the Legislature is the cause of the current state of affairs within the Carnival Committee. Mr. Callender’’s comments that, "A lot of this confusion is because of the Legislature’’s political intrusion," really tells the whole story. The Committee truly believes that for our Senators to ask them how they spend an allocation of over a quarter of a million dollars is an "intrusion." I would say that it is a fiscal responsibility.
