Area Student Exhibits Photographs

March 23, 2005 — Jessa Buchalter, a senior majoring in photography in Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is among the students whose photographs are being exhibited in the Newhouse Photography Annual held on the Syracuse University campus. Buchalter is originally from St. John.
This annual show encourages students majoring in photography in the Newhouse School to display a diverse sampling of their work to the Syracuse University and greater Syracuse communities. The show runs through May 10.
According to a news release from Syracuse University, the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications is one of the most respected professional communications schools in the nation. The Newhouse School offers degree programs in seven disciplines: advertising, broadcast journalism, magazine journalism, newspaper journalism, public relations, television, radio, and film and visual and interactive communications.
