Family Celebrates Life of Rosella Ishmalda Wilson

Feb. 16, 2005 — Rosella Ishmalda Wilson, also known as "Tanti Rose" of Hannah's Rest, died Thursday, Feb. 10 at age 91.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Gerald Wilson; daughters, Leola "Eulaine" White and Rhoda Davis; sons, Carlton Stevens, John "Leo" White, Monroe White and Sgt. Maj. Orville White; stepchildren, Julis Baptist, Angela Baptist and Doris Frett; grandchildren, Neil, Carlvi, Sylvin and Kevin Stevens, Charlene Hewitt, Edward, John Jr., Vincent and Francis White, Burnie Davis Jr., Donald and Kenneth Davis; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Valdrina Hill, Emma Penn and Eva Blackwood; brother, Rudman Stevens; neices and nephews; daughters-in-law, Murial Stevens and Louise White; son-in-law, Burnie Davis; sisters-in-law, Othelia and Violet Stevens; brothers-in-law, Carl Penn and Walter Hill Sr.; caretaker, Miss Linda; special friends, Elsie Vanterpool and Henrietty Sandy; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Methodist Church with a viewing at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at Frederiksted Cemetery. Professional arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home.
