Feb. 7, 2005 – Holman O. Harley, 84, died Feb. 5 at the age of 84 at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital.
There will be two viewings, the first from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing, from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, will precede the funeral service at Memorial Moravian Church. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery.
Better known as "Teenager" or "Harley," he is survived by his wife, Lucille Romney Harley; daughters, Leona Joseph, Lorraine Schuster, Lucinda Todman, Lavern Matthias and Lauris Harley; sons, Holman O. Harley Jr. and Dwayne "Bongo" Harley; brothers-in-law, Carl and Albert Romney, Romeo Malone and Turo Fahie; sisters in law, Iris Fahie, Mary Malone, Cecelia Romney and Melsada Romney; 31 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
