Vow Renewal Ceremony at Trunk Bay on St. John

Jan. 27, 2005 — For the third year in a row, couples will get the chance to say "I Do" again at the annual Valentine's Day vow renewal ceremony at Trunk Bay beach on St. John. It begins at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 14.
"It's an opportunity to begin the marriage anew, to honor the relationship and to reaffirm their commitment to each other," Anne Marie Porter said Thursday.
Porter, whose business is performing weddings and vow renewal ceremonies, and Cathy Dove are organizing the event.
Last year, 75 couples participated in the ceremony. Some also came the year before. Many bring family members and friends to share the joy.
The ceremony is accompanied by music.
There is no charge to participate. For more information, call Porter at 693-5153 or Dove at 693-8555.
