Caribbean Community Theatre Celebrates 20 Years

Jan 25, 2005 — CCT is 20 years old! Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Caribbean Community Theatre presents the musical comedy The Full Monty as the second show of its 2004-2005 season. This production opens on February 4th and will run for three weekends on Friday and Saturday evenings: February 4-5, 11-12 and 18-19, 2005. Curtain time is 8:00 PM. There will also be a matinee on Sunday, February 13 beginning at 4:00 PM. Performances of this musical comedy will be held in the NEW Caribbean Community Theatre, at #18 Estate Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix.
The music and lyrics of this production are by David Yazbek and the book is by Terrance McNally This play is based on the motion picture released by Fox Searchlight Pictures written by Simon Beaufoy, produced by Uberto Pasolini and directed by Peter Cattaneo.

Directed by CCT veteran, David Richards, The Full Monty features the local talents of Jerome Agean, Ray Arcamo, Michael Armendariz, Bill Butler, Cindy Clearwater, Meg Connell, Lionel Downer, Christian Faust, Bill Griswold, Oceana James, Derek Martin, Alex Nissman, Sarah Strickland, Christine Thomas, Kelly Walton, Carole Well, Glen Wells and Kasey Willard.

The project is jointly supported by a grant from the Virgin Islands Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington, DC, a federal agency.
Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults; and $8.00 for students ($12.00 and $5.00 for CCT members). This is an adult musical comedy and not recommended for children under 16 yars of age.
