WAPA Richmond Plant Repairs Completed

Jan. 11, 2005 – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority completed repairs to the substation located at the Richmond plant early Tuesday.
WAPA had initially scheduled an outage from 4 a..m. to 5 a.m. to repair substation equipment that was damaged following the island-wide electrical outage that occurred on Sunday.
The brief outage began at 4:20 a.m. and ended at 4:42 a.m.
