Community Alert: Portion of Route 75 Closed for Repairs

Dec. 17, 2004 – A portion of Route 75, from the traffic lights intersection at La Reine Shopping Center going South to Clifton Hill, will be closed to motorists from Saturday, Dec. 18, through Wednesday, Dec. 22, for repairs, with the exception of the residents who live in Clifton Hill, Public Works Commissioner Wayne Callwood said Friday in a release.
"The Department of Public Works will commence the reconditioning and resurfacing of the roadway that was devastated by the various rainstorms and solicits the community's cooperation," Callwood said.
"I take this opportunity to wish the motorists of St. Croix a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and apologize for any inconvenience that may arise during the tenure of the road repairs," Callwood said.
