Nov. 20, 2004 – Hubert McIntosh, also known as "Macabee" or "Mac" of Hospital Street died Nov. 12 at his home. McIntosh was 94.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred McIntosh; daughters, Karen Bruce, Claudette McIntosh, Francis Petersen and Linda McIntosh; sons, Bruce, Ken, Dennis, Bertram and Rupert McIntosh; stepson, Harold Brown; sisters, Angelita, Mary and Mabel McIntosh; brothers, James, Charles and Douglas McIntosh; daughters-in-law, Margaret and Grace McIntosh; adopted daughter-in-law, Claudia Brown; sister-in-law, Mary McIntosh; 42 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention; special friends, Continuum Care, Pat Carter, Sarah Thomas, Shurla Jeffers Dianne Tod, Luise James, and Gail Nealon.
Funeral services will take place Tuesday, Nov. 23 at St. Paul's Episcopal Anglican Church at 11 a.m., with a viewing at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery. Professional arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home.
