Anything Goes Bike Race This Weekend

Nov. 2, 2004 — The Virgin Islands Cycling Federation announces its first bike race of the new season. The 15 mile race, called "Anything Goes," begins at Rust Op Twist and ends at Clover Crest in Frederiksted. Cyclists may use any bike on any course to arrive at the finish. The race starts at 7 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 7. There is an entry fee of $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
The VICF has organized a calendar of 20 events including road races, time trial races and women's only races. The road races will include three racing distances in the categories of Sport, Expert and Elite. For more information about cycling in the V.I. please call 773-0079.
