Oct. 29, 2004 – Beryl Enels Schjang Knight, 87, of 25 Prince Street died Oct. 23, at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Md.
She is survived by her daughters; Norrine Abramson, Rochelle Greaux N.Y., Bernadette A. Messer, Sharon Knight-Thompson, Md, Celeste Knight- Lang and Faye Knight- Whitley, N.J.; sons: George W. Knight, Sr., Michael E. Knight, Gareth A, Knight and Randall A. Knight; grandchildren; Charlene, John Jr. and Shawn Abramson, Beryl and Ardis Moorehead, Sharon (deceased), Kenya, Dian, Dawn, Noreen, Trevor, Gregory, Elroy and George Knight III and Leah, Michelle and Antonio Messer, Monique, Chanel and Nicole Golden, Jan Ovensen, Monique and Robert Simmond, Kevin, Tamika, Annelle Knight, Joshua and Sean Thompson, Larissa and Amara Lang, Emerald Knight, Randall II, Yaneria, Denae, Rashida, Chad, Marcus, Mark, Randallia, Akeem, Kaleem, Rasheede and Beyon'ce Knight; 74 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; sisters: Sylvia Schjang and Violet Davidson; brother; Owen Schjang; nieces: Charlita, Enid, Melba Schjang, Evita Patton, Carol Pimentel and Lynnel Johnson; nephews, Ronald, Kai, Guido, Michael, Oswald Jr, Schjang; daughters-in-law; Daria Knight, Myrtle Knight and Yolanda Knight; sons-in-law, John Abramson Sr., Rubio Lang, John Thompson, Julian Whitley; sisters-in-law; Kathleen, Isabel and Virginia Knight, Maria Schjang; brothers-in-law; Henry Knight and Cornell Davidson; godchildren: Lt Gov. Vargrave Richards, Wayne and Dwayne Dennis, Roderick James, Roxanne Rissing and Jermaine Graham Jr.; special friends; Iris Browne and Family, Gerard Christian Jr., Wihlimena Comabatch, Maisie Fergus, Beryl Finch, Marie Rissing and Family, Antonio Messer Sr,, Ms. Irma Hansen, Ms. Lauris Jackson (St. Thomas); Claudia Forbes, Rita Phillips, Gertrude Gumbs, Raymond Kean, Shakima Richardson, Corliss Nathaniel and many Other relatives and friends too numerous to mentioned.
Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. with the viewing beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will take place at Christiansted Cemetery,
James Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
