Coral World Offers 'Spooktacular' Halloween Party

Oct. 23, 2004 – Coral World will hold its seventh annual Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 29, from 6-9:30 p.m. The ticket booth will close at 8:30 p.m., so guests should arrive early for maximum fun time. This year's party will prove to be extra spooky with the Haunted Nature Trail complete with creepy swamp creatures, ghost pirates and other ghoulish characters.
"This is a unique opportunity for the public to experience Coral World at night," Allegra Kean, the park's marketing director, said. "The park is a sight to see at night with the trees all lit," she said, "and at night you can see many sea creatures that you don't see during the day, especially on a night like Halloween."
For the faint of heart, the exciting clown show is sure to entertain. Kids of all ages will delight in the treasure hunt, and parents can enter to win one of many valuable door prizes including annual family memberships to Coral World, Kean said.
The entire family can visit the airbrush tattoo booth, have their fortune told or have a family photo taken with exotic birds. Musical entertainment and candy bags for the kids will top off the evening. In addition, the restaurant, gift shop, and all exhibits will be open.
Admission for V.I. residents with local ID is $6 for adults and $3 for children. There is plenty of parking and security will be provided. For more information, call 775-1555, ext. 247, or e-mail marketing@coralworldvi.com.
