Oct. 12, 2004 The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising the public that a small section of Feeder #8 surrounding the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix will be out on Wednesday, Oct. 13, from approximately 6-8 a.m., according to a release issued Tuesday.
This is a small part of the $4 million project that will ultimately result in underground utility service to Frederiksted.
Work will be conducted at the intersection of the Melvin H. Evans Highway and the East Airport Road, the release said.
To ensure the safety of work crews, pedestrians, and motorists, the public is asked to obey flaggers' directions and to observe areas of caution designated by traffic cones.
