Planning Hearing on Group Dwelling Permit

Oct. 5, 2004 – The Planning and Natural Resources Department will hold a public hearing on Steven and Barbara Barnes' request for a group dwelling permit for their St. John property.
The hearing will be held Oct. 13 at the Legislature building on St. John. It begins at 10 a.m. The public is invited to testify.
The couple want to build two two-bedroom apartment units and four one-bedroom apartment units in three buildings. The property is .9 acres in size. It will have a wastewater treatment facility and a swimming pool.
"It's for long-term housing," their architect, Terry Fields, said.
He said the property is located off Gifft Hill Road. The road to the property sits on the right hand side of Gifft Hill Road when traveling east toward Fish Bay from the Westin Resort and Villas at the second sharp bend in the road.
