Enforcement of Legislation Will be Key

Congratulations to the Virgin Islands in passing its animal-abuse legislation.
It is a well-known fact that people who practice animal abuse are more likely to commit human abuses as well. A civilized society cannot ignore the actions of these violence-prone individuals. Enforcement and strict adherence of the judiciary to the penalties required by the law will be the key to this legislation's success. Thank you, V.I., for making your land a better place to visit.
