Volunteers are invited to help spruce up the Winston Wells Ballfield, located next to the Julius E. Sprauve School, and start construction on a pocket playground at the Clarice Thomas Annex as part of The United Way of St. Thomas-St. John's first Day of Caring on St. John. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 23, at Julius E. Sprauve School.
