United Way Plans St. John 'Day of Caring'

Volunteers are invited to help spruce up the Winston Wells Ballfield, located next to the Julius E. Sprauve School, and start construction on a pocket playground at the Clarice Thomas Annex as part of The United Way of St. Thomas-St. John's first Day of Caring on St. John. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 23, at Julius E. Sprauve School. To volunteer or learn more about the Day of Caring, call Carol DeSenne at 693-9410 or the United Way office at 774-3185.
