Services Friday for Adele C. Christian Flynn, 90

Sept. 14, 2004 – Funeral services will be held Friday for Adele C. Christian Flynn, also known as "Mama Flynn" or "Ms. Flynn," of Estate Rattan, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 90.
She is survived by her daughters Florette "Patsy" Flynn and Donna-Marie F. Osborne; sons Lorne O. Dawson and Elroy C. Flynn; stepdaughter Ellery Flynn Christian; stepsons Orville, Errol and Louis Flynn; grandchildren Anthony, Dale, Christina and Alvaris Dawson, Crystal Collins, Aretha Brodhurst Ventura, Othneil "Craiggie" Brodhurst, Lambert "Lambie" Telesford, Ebony Jackson(deceased), Dionne Marie Flynn, Chanel, Marquetta and Tiffany Flynn, Trena A. Smith, Mia Osborne-Santos and Miyoko Adele Osborne and Javier "Macho" Marrero Jr.; great-grandchildren Marcellino Jr., Marcellinia and Myles Ventura, Othneil Jr., Jahraun, Allahmarah, Jahmara and Yahfari Brodhurst, Aeryel and Aeryk Williams, Brandon and Britney Dawson, Shalem-Shiloh M. Charles, Sean Santos Jr., Kenaleya Haderson, Shenisha Gonsalves, Genecia, Javon and De'Asia Hunter, Sharina, Russell and Shauntea Bland; sisters Maria Christian, Ethlyn Brown, Anita Nibbs and Sylvia Christian Davis (deceased); brothers Eric Christian, Alphonso Daly, Freddie Williams (deceased); Charles, Victor, Alvaris and John Christian (all deceased); nieces Anita Christian, Leola "Lola" Christian, Dorine C. Irish, Linda Marilyn, Irma Sylvia and Amarda Christian, Daphne Williams, Verna Mae Doward and Estelle Davis, Renee and Mitchele Flynn, Mae Agnes Muckle-Machicote, Sherolyn Xavier-Hachshaw; nephews Lawrence "Larry," Victor "Boxer," Charles "Charlo" and Anthon "Chucky" Kenneth, Bradley, Delroy, Roy, Almeric, Raphie and Darwin Christian, Marvin and Wilbur Abramson, Dr. Gustave Petersen, Clement Doward, Roland, Bruce, and Byron Christian, Joseph Flynn and Eustace Xavier; daughters-in-law Elizabeth M. Dawson and Pamela Flynn; sons-in-law Joseph A. Osborne and James "Charlo" Caines and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
Viewing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Speak the Word Ministries, Peter's Rest, followed by services at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Frederiksted Cemetery.
Arrangements are by James Memorial Funeral Home.
