Maria Parilla dies at age 66

August 25, 2004 – Maria E. Parilla, age 66, of Estate Campo Rico, passed away on Aug. 21 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
She is survived by her father: Benito Santos, Sr.; daughters; Maria E. Gittens, Celestina Parrilla a/k/a "Reds" and Juanita P. Rawlins "Crystal" ; Sons: Roberto James, Enrique James, Petrie Joseph, Jr., John Joseph and Angel Parrilla, deceased; Adopted Children: Alvin Brathwaite, St. Thomas, Caesar Noorhassan, Kenny Gittens, St. Croix, and Pinky George, St. Thomas; Grandchildren: Luis Martinez, Nakesha Ventura, Roberto Cruz, Joselito Ventura, Freddie Cruz, Nelson Cruz, Edwin Estein, Jr., Neftalie Ventura, Chanucey Parrilla, Tremanye Walker, Takema James, R.andolph Lafonde, Angela Parrilla, Shayna Parrilla, Tenisha Joseph, Dimitri Joseph, T' Quana James, Jahleen James, Marcus Samuel, Khalid. Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 27, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with viewing beginning at 1O a.m.. Interment will take place at Frederiksted Cemetery.
Arrangements are by James Memorial Funeral Home, Inc.
