'Nothing But Praises for Nurse June Adams'

Dear Source,
Nothing but praises for nurse June Adams. (See Hospital's LPN Training Program Reaches Milestone.)
I have been a certified nurse's assistant for nearly 25 years. I visited St. Thomas recently on vacation and wondered about their hospital facilities and nursing programs, from the top down, to us little gals that are so needed in the field of nursing too. I am so happy for each and every one. If only you knew, of the areas of care, nursing can be used as the years go on; you'll never be without a job, and no retirement — unless you desire of. Just wonderful.
God bless you and the future of this program. I wasn't able to further my education into the LPN programs here in the states, due to family obligations; then I had a child at age 40, so things took there priorities. However, I was given honorable mention at a special meeting held for special workers in the field due to their skill in working with clients and patients. I was among the eight honored with commendations at the special dinner under the Passport Nursing Program. I still have my recognition letter framed and placed on my wall just four years ago. I have since retired, so I appreciate the efforts being given the CNAs to grow up in nursing. What a way to go for the islands!
