Look for Detours Between Pollyberg and Main Street

July 26, 20004 – Work will continue and detours will prevail for another seven to 10 days as the Water and Power Authority continues to install underground electrical ducts on Bjerge Gade between Main Street and Pollyberg Road.
Traffic traveling north on Beltjian Road from the Lover's Lane intersection will be able to turn left onto Main Street or Kongens Gade to Dronningens Gade. Motorists traveling west on Pollyberg Hill will have to turn right and head north toward the Lionel Roberts Stadium . There will be no left turn.
The underground duct work is part of the new $5 million Feeder No. 13 loop system being constructed to improve electrical distribution and provide redundancy to the existing system, according to a release from WAPA.
Flag personnel will be directing traffic, the release said, and motorists are asked to pay attention to personnel and signs.
