June 30, 2004 – Services will be Friday for Ann M. Christian, 93, who died Friday, June 25, at Juan F. Luis Hospital.
Christian, the sister of the late Gov. Alexander A. Farrelly, was a native of Frederiksted and most recently resided at Adventure Hill.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
Christian is survived by her caregiver, Joan J. Petersen; helper Editha Barnard; cousins Reginald and Virgie George; close friends the Pool Group Seniors, the Friendly Twelve group and the Barry family of Blessing; sister Mary Farrelly-Jones; brother Ivan Farrelly; daughter Myrilin Una Ricardo; nephew Richard Farrelly; sister-in-law Joan Harrigan Farrelly; godbrother Thomas Johnson (W.B.); niece Patricia Farrelly, and other relatives and friends.
Petersen expressed thanks to the Sea View personnel who provided home care – nurses and occupational therapist Theresa, Kathleen, Linda and Carol Fenner; to Gloria Gerard at the hospital; to Emma Ayala, Anselmo, Ann Parris, Nitza Ayala, Jean Williams Geneva Heyliger and Winifred Jackson for guidance; and to Ann Jackson, Thelma Clarke and others if left out.
