St. John's Sunday Jazz Jam Has a New Home

June 22, 2004 – Anybody coming off the ferry from St. Thomas between 4 and 7 p.m. on Sunday should have little trouble figuring out where the Sunday Jazz Jam has taken up residence in Cruz Bay.
An institution of four years' standing produced by St. John resident Steve Simon, the Sunday Jazz Jam will start this weekend to call the Beach Bar next to the ferry dock home.
"Caribbean jazz at its best" with you-never-know-who guest jamming is what Simon promises. And admission is free.
The regulars Simon has assembled comprise Sally Smith on keyboards, Rhett Simmonds and Les Burnside on bass, Gregg Jones on guitar, Andrew Cameron on drums, Michael Banzhaf on flute and Simon himself on clarinet.
For more information, give Simon a call at 693-8834.
