WTJX-TV to Broadcast Little League Championships

June 19, 2004 – WTJX-TV Channel 12/DT 44 will once again broadcast live all the bat-cracking, base-stealing and homerun-scoring action of the V.I. Little League Baseball Championships.
Beginning June 25, WTJX will air the championships from St. Thomas. The broadcast begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 25, and Saturday, June 26, and will continue Sunday, June 27, if a third day of play is needed to determine a champion. The start time will be announced
later. The games are expected to run into evening hours, pre-empting some evening programs.
The championships will bring together youngsters ages 9,10,11 and 12 for the contests.
