WAPA Moving to Larger, More Accessible Office

June 9, 2004 – The Water and Power Authority on Monday will open a new office on St. John. The staff is moving from what was termed "a cramped space" above Connections to a "spacious" area at the Lumberyard Shopping Center previously occupied by Nancy D'Anna's law office and Paula Lambert's bookkeeping service.
"It will be more accessible to customers," WAPA spokeswoman Laurie Christian said. She said the new space is 1,700 square feet. She had no square footage for the old space, but said it was miniscule compared to the new space.
This new WAPA office is located on the street-front portion of the shopping center on the road that runs past Boulon Center. There are a few parking spaces in front of the office, but they are usually filled.
The office will be open for business immediately after the 10 a.m. dedication ceremony. To reach WAPA on St. John, call 776-6446.
