June 5, 2004- Elections for the employee representatives to the GESC/Health Insurance Board of Trustees will be July 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and July 14 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Kevin Rodriguez, acting director of the Division of Personnel, said in a recent press release that Title 3 of the V.I. Code requires the representation of one employee from the District of St Thomas/St John and one from the District of St. Croix is on the GESC/Health Insurance Board. Other government employees shall choose the two members.
The ballot will consist of representation from either exempt or classified employees from the executive, judicial and legislative branches of government, as well as semi-autonomous agencies, and the Central Labor Council.
Any employee interested in serving as a member of the board, may submit a letter of intent no later than 4 p.m. on June 17 to Rodriguez, Division of Personnel CERS Complex, 3rd Floor, 3438 Kronprindsens Gade, St. Thomas, V.I. 00802. On St. Croix the address is 3009 Orange Grove, Suite 6,7, & 8, Christiansted, St, Croix, V.I. 00820.
