DPNR Planning Official to Address Coral Bay Council

June 4, 2004 – Marjorie Emmanuel, director of the Planning and Natural Resources Department's Division of Comprehensive and Coastal Zone Planning, will be the featured speaker at the June 14 meeting of the Coral Bay Community Council.
The meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the John's Folly Learning Institute.
Emmanuel is expected to discuss the need for a Comprehensive Land and Water Use Plan as well as explain the current zoning system.
A strong turnout will show DPNR officials how much Coral Bay residents care about being involved with their community's future, Sharon Coldren, council president, said.
She said the meeting will provide the first opportunity for residents to see what's included in the Comprehensive Land and Water Use Plan now under development. "Under the new plan, the zoning and number of land-use regulations will change," she said.
