UVI Center Offers Common Sense Investing Course

May 24, 2004 – Residents of St. Croix can benefit from a basic investing course being offered by the University of the Virgin Islands Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning Center.
The course entitled "Common Sense Investing for V.I. Residents" is designed to provide individuals with a better understanding of investing in order to manage their personal finances. The instructors, Michael J. Kelleher and Christopher Margolin of UBS Financial Services will cover topics such as retirement plans, stocks and bonds, tax strategies, and estate planning.
The course will be offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from June 2 through July 7. The fee is $99. Classes will be held in Room 143 of the Research and Extension Center on UVI's St. Croix Campus.
